Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?
Answer: Through my formative years, I was attached to this brand. In my childhood, Ultratech has created an image of strength I need to maintain in my life. Your several brands like Birla Balwan, Birla Cellulose, etc were a daily sight for me, reason my grandfather being a farmer. From the image of strength and ruggedness to the image of class and fashion, would be one of the best journeys I could have. Be it Peter England, Louis Philippe, Allensolly or VanHeusen, all brands are capturing a major pie of my attention when it comes to dressing and looking good. A pantaloon is the place which I consider when I think about it. Now that I got into B school and have to be in formals in the future ABG is the brand which I will have to be connected in coming days. This connection became even stronger when one my senior from MDI worked for Aditya Birla Fashion Retail Group in his summers and now as full time, my perception about brand has come to another level.
Though not attached directly to other brands, but have heard about some of the brands like freshpakk, Tetramate 35, etc in the field, being a mechanical engineer.
How had you made an impact?
Answer: When it comes to make an impact there is only one event that comes to my life and that is getting 99.96 percentile in my 12th boards, which I consider as my greatest achievement till date. If one looks at the numbers they are good, but that is not the only reason, it’s the hardship I went through to get those numbers. Just 8 days before the examination I got severe pain in my stomach. It diagnosed with appendicitis and I have to go through the operation. I was hospitalized for 3 days. But more problematic was prior two weeks, in which my body started showing reactions because of that. Constant fever, vomiting and stomach pain didn’t let me study for probably the most important exam of academic life. I didn’t lose my composer. Prior preparation which I have done during the course progression itself helped me to get through this. I planned for those 6 days left for the preparation; divide it among 3 important subjects. High dose of pain killers, dressing of stitches, mandatory rest were giving me a real hard time. This incident helped me to gain an attitude of not being afraid of setbacks and instead be someone who always fights back and not leaves thing for the last moments. I know our efforts are important but sometimes you have to perform, you have to give results, if not for you than for your parents probably, who have so much of confidence and expectations from you and given almost everything they can. After achieving that result despite those circumstances and seeing those happy faces and proud feeling for you make me realize that yes, you have achieved something great.
