PART A : WHY ADITYA BIRLA GROUP IS IMPORTANT IN MY LIFE
Speaking of Aditya Birla Group and their products, the very first thing that comes to my mind is Ultratech cement. Every human being wishes to have his/her own home. Ultratech cement helped us make one. As a child, it was most probably the first Aditya Birla Group product that I came across. Since then, this special group has been a part of our lives.
After a firm house to live in, the most important thing is health. Here also, Aditya Birla Group has become a part of our family. The Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited had been very helpful when my mother was hospitalized, with their ABSLI Hospital Plus Plan. Because this very plan covers the non-medical expenses as well. We are thinking of availing the ABSLI CritiShield Plan too for my father, because of his cardiac problems.
Then comes every youngster’s favorite shop, Pantaloons. Here, under one roof we get all fashion accessories for all age groups. I love Pantaloons because of the wide range of variety of clothes available here. I can buy clothes and accessories for everyone of my family under this very roof. PART B: HOW I OVERCAME CHALLENGES TO ACHIEVE MY AMBITIONS IN LIFE
The most difficult challenge I faced in my life was while coordinating for the robotics event ‘Age of Ultron’ in the inter collegiate technical fest, VerTechX 6.0. My ambition is never to fail in the job I am assigned to. But that became quite a tough objective in that very case. As the coordinator of the event, I along with my team had to build up an arena for the automated bots to move onto. We selected the college playground as the venue. Everyone worked really hard for a week and finally built up the arena. We tested the arena with our college bots as well. The arena was perfect.
But, three days before the event, it rained cats and dogs. The entire arena was damaged. Moreover, the playground was under water. So, there was no way of building another arena in the playground. The entire work went in vein. More importantly, the event was on the verge of getting cancelled.
The next day, with two days at hand, we started planning again. We chose a different venue this time. This venue was inside the building, so was protected from rainfall. But the two main challenges were to build the arena on floor tiles and to finish it within two days. I, managed to get cardboard boxes from all the labs of college, as all the labs had newly installed computers. We worked round the clock for two days and finally, at the eleventh hour we finished building the arena with cardboard boxes. That is how I overcame the challenge and it taught me the significance of having a second plan.
