Aditya Birla Group has spread its reach in almost all the major segments of our country’s market and even overseas to about 35 countries. This group caters to the needs of about 1.2 billion Indian consumers making their life easier and better. Right from being involved in agribusiness, to making a prominent contribution in the telecommunication industry and e- commerce, Aditya Birla has proved itself to be a market leader.
My very own house has been built using UltraTech Cement, an Aditya Birla Subsidiary. Aditya Birla Group has been a major part in the journey to my B school. When I got calls from various colleges, some of the brands that came into my mind and I shopped from are Van Heusen and Allen Solly, both being this group’s subsidiaries. They structure corporate life by providing majorly ready to wear office clothing which has made it so easy for young people like us who are exploring the corporate world. Aditya Birla Group has been one of the reasons I have stayed connected to my sister who lives outside India. I’m an Idea user and it provides its customers with a strong and reliable network connection. Also, the significant contribution made to the agricultural sector, which is the backbone of our country, is remarkable.
All in all, the value that Aditya Birla Group has added in my life is beyond measure. This group has become a part of my daily life in many ways and will continue to do so in future.

It is said that, Life doesn’t require that we be the best, it only requires that we try our best. This is what I have always believed in, even during the times of struggle.
One of the most significant challenges in my life has been overcoming a problem that hampered my growth and personality development because I hesitated speaking in public. I was hesitant because I have a tongue tie, a condition that restricts the motion of tongue sometimes creating a problem in speech. The problem was not that prominent in my case hence it remained undiscovered when I was born. I used to speak really fast sometimes making it difficult for the other person to comprehend, but it was mostly psychological. My speech was mostly clear, but I became nervous while speaking in front of an audience which aggravated my unwillingness for public speaking. I wanted to work on my thought process and made myself believe that there was nothing to be scared about as long as I’m giving my 100 percent.
I decided to bring a change in myself, so I started indulging myself in various activities involving the use of communication skills and I did well in almost all of them. It gave me a feeling of self- accomplishment and restored my confidence. I saw myself grow as an individual and it was only because I decided to win the battle against my own fears and insecurities. After all, it is always good to fight back, at least there is no regret that you didn’t even try!
