In doing so they want to build a better, sustainable way of life for the weaker section of society and raise the country’s human development index.
The first memory I can recollect of my association with ABG was Ultratech cement. I vividly remember the TV commercials of ‘Build Beautiful’. When I grew up I took a step forward and got into apparel shopping sessions at Pantaloons. The diverse collection of clothes always made it difficult for me to choose from. Allen Solly and Van Heusen have always helped me look classier, with a wide range of formal choices they offer.
In today’s life, cellular phones are something you cannot imagine your life without. By bringing IDEA it helped me and millions of people connect. It also brought ideas payment bank for online banking and cashless transactions.
Apart from this ABG also works in 5000 villages, reaches out to 7.5 million people and immunized 70 million children against polio. In this way, it has not only impacted my life but also of millions of people around the globe.
How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far?
“The greater the obstacle, the more glory is in overcoming it”
-Moliere
Life is full of challenges, and none of us is exempt. Every now and then we end up facing profusion of challenges. All the achievers and successful people I know are long-life learners. They are constantly facing challenges, looking for insights, and ideas. If they are not learning they are not moving towards excellence. Since birth, we have faced a new set of challenges that crops at any point in time. The first challenge life throws our way is to strike out a balance between personal and professional life. My story was no different. Talking from personal experiences the biggest challenge I encountered in life was the management of finances.
It takes me back to 2013 when my dad’s business just crashed down and we were back to square one. I was around 14 years old and was with minimum knowledge on how to face such difficult circumstances. It was like someone had just busted my happy bubble world and brought me to reality. We had to start everything from scratch. I was small but being the only child to my parents I had my set of responsibilities. That was when I realized, life is not a bed of roses to walk on there are going to be situations that will turn our world upside down. Being a 14-year old I couldn’t do much to help my parents. But I had to play my part so I decided to take tutions and help them in some or the other way. That’s when I realized how even such small contributions on my had a huge impact on our lives. It not only brought us closer emotionally but had a pivotal role in my understanding of the outer world from such a minor age. As they say, after every crack of dawn there is sunrise. The situation got better each day. But the experience taught me that every penny in your pool of funds counts. It made me learn that success is failure turned upside down.
