ABGLP has played a crucial role in all stages of my life from my childhood to the point where I had to start taking responsibilities. The smiley on the freshwrapp packing whenever my mother used to pack my food always left a positive impression to the start of my day. As a family, we have been going to the pantaloons store for the wide range of clothing and the experience that the store provided. Whenever I have to buy clothes be it for interviews, any special occasion or casual clothes, I end up going to one of the brands of Aditya Birla Group. The main reason in addition to the customer experience is the variety of clothes that they offer catering to my demand. The quality of product that Aditya Birla Group has provided in each of its products has impressed me a lot and that is the reason why I respect this brand. I feel connected and inspired by the rising sun as the logo of the group depicting the permanence, vigour, zeal to rise along with simplicity associated. The contribution of the group back to the society in the form healthcare, education, sustainable livelihood and infrastructure projects has been commendable and a motivation for everyone. The group along with providing thousands of jobs in its industries has been constantly working to improve the lifestyle of rural India and has accomplished in reaching out to more than 7.5 million people in 5000 villages by operating 20 hospitals and 56 schools in total.
During my college I have been an active participant in competitive programming competitions and also went to the ACM-ICPC regionals finals. The effort that I put in the learning when I was preparing for the competitions helped in developing the required logical and analytical ability for any computer science engineer. However, during the internship season I was able to clear the preliminary tests for all the companies to qualify for the interviews but got rejections for four consecutive days. It was a difficult phase as I started doubting my ability and my skills. I was trying to keep myself up but as I was not able to find the root cause of the rejections, I was facing more and more anxiety and pressure. Thankfully, with the help of my friends and family, I was able to figure out that the problem was in the articulation of the idea that I was presenting. They also helped me by giving suggestions and guiding me how they overcame this issue and what can I do to surpass it. So I started working on my articulation and the structure while explaining anything to anyone. Through multiple iterations of practice and feedback, I started gaining confidence on my skills and my ability to crack the next opportunity. During my next interview I was able to structure and present my views and ideas in a better way consistently throughout the rounds. This helped me in landing an internship at one of the leading banks in the world.
