Aditya Birla Group was founded in 1857 by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla. It is one of India's largest business band and also claims to be the most international of the country's major corporations. It has major contributions in the sector of telecom, cement, chemicals, retail, PSI data systems and many more.
The one sector which has made my life better living is telecom and retail. To start with the era of mobile phones and the network connection which I got from my parents was Idea – Cellular, and it h has made my life so easy to connect with my family who was residing out of India while I was away from them for a long time and also domestically with friends and guardians. I am a proud user of Idea from last 8 years and is still counting.
Second is with reference to retail and they are one and only “MORE” Megastore and Pantaloons. I still remember my mom going to weekly markets that used to be set up near our locality and people used to visit that street market for fresh vegetables and fruits but with the opening of More as a supermarket in my area has increased the ease and availability of fresh vegetables and fruits on daily basis and also the other daily necessities. This was a big relief for me and my family for not visiting those crowded markets anymore and getting the different variety of commodities at one place.
Pantaloons which has been recently acquired by the ABGL group has always been most preferred store for all my college and office wear shopping, even my family and friends have also been regular in their visits for the store.
