At night, walking under the beautiful sky and having a can of beverage and mesmerising the view which I could never find in Delhi or other metro cities, gave me a sense of contemplation and immense satisfaction.
Looking back, I found that all these products and services, Pantaloons shirt, Ultra tech cement, beverage cans, Vodafone-Idea are associated with ABG. Everybody faces challenges in life but how a person handles them determines his life.
I was guiding a young guy around 22yrs old, to reduce his weight by changing his lifestyle and exercising and I had guided around 15-20 other people as well. You must be wondering why they were taking such kind of advice from me. I am certainly not a gym trainer or a nutritionist.
I was an obese child throughout my teenage days which caused me lose my self-confidence as I was bullied for being the fattest kid. However, during my college years, I trained myself and participated in many events like the half marathon. I learned boxing and wrestling and participated in physique competitions in college which instilled discipline and confidence in me. The process is not so simple as it took around two years for me to go from 110 kgs to 72 kgs. Sheer dedication and planning was needed to achieve this result. A change in lifestyle and eating habits had to be changed which I was following throughout these years, and it has to be continued throughout the life (which I learned after meeting an accident and gaining 5 kgs as a result of not following the schedule for 2 months).
But the part which I want to focus on is not reducing weight but helping others to achieve their goals. This is the quality which I always admire. In the process of helping others, you brainstorm about the issue and get to know about so many things. It also solves their problems and brings a wonderful smile on their faces. You also realise your problems and get a better understanding of yourself and the world around you. Solving the challenges of others helps you to evolve and become proactive and pragmatic while approaching a problem. And makes you a better human being
