Being a student of management , I was introduced to marketing 101 in the first term. While learning the concepts such as segmentation, targeting, positioning and brand management the obvious example that used to come in my mind was of Aditya Birla group.
I was really surprised the first time when I got to know that the brands like Louis Phillipe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen and Peter England are actually indian and owned by Aditya Birla group. The more i got attached with these brands, the more i learnt about their brand management, customer loyality programs, customer feedback mechanism and promotional methods. Its been almost 7-8 years I have been associated with ABG fashion and in my personal opinion, the satisfaction level has never decreased.
So is the case with their cellular service provider 'Idea';not just the great connectivity but their innovative and different advertisement style always made me curious about brand management. So from just being a consumer to taking informed and important decisions in my student life by taking marketing electives Aditya Birla group has played a vital role.
