Role Aditya Birla Group has played in making my life big

Aditya Birla Group says, “Taking India to the World”. The company with the most diverse business covering all major sectors, with a vision "To be a premium global conglomerate with a clear focus on each of the businesses".

Ranging from my basic needs to fancy requirements, Aditya Birla Group has covered it all.

Big is Massive ( UltraTech Cement) - The house I live in.

Big is also microscopic (Carbon nanoparticles in tyres) - The car and bike I drive.

Bis is Indispensable - 4th largest producer of Insulators

Big is all about great style - Clothes from different brands ranging from Pantaloons to Forever 21

Big is in my palm - Hindalco aluminium used to make cover glass for my phone.

Big makes distance disappear -  The Vodafone connection that I use.

and the life insurance and the financial services I use to keep myself secured, I can go on and the list but this list will never end.

The company has so much to offer that it has become an integral part of my life, for any product or service I wish to buy. The conglomerate is so huge that I might be using an Aditya Birla Group product without even knowing about it.

That is the impact Aditya Birla Group has created not just in my life but for everyone around. While maintaining quality, the group has successfully established itself across 35 countries. In the end, I would just like to say that the Group has already made my life BIG and with the same kind of zeal I’m sure it would make my life BIGGER.

Challenges I overcame to achieve my ambitions in life so far

“I wish I could stop being introverted!”

Moments when I “hit the wall” and need to go home, even when I’m enjoying a great gig or evening with friends. Times at conferences and festivals when my energy levels have depleted by the end of day one and I’m desperate to escape.

I guess I’ve probably thought it most when someone else decides to highlight a common introvert trait that annoys them most:

‘Why don’t you answer your phone when I call? Why do you like spending so much time alone? Why are you being so quiet? Why don’t you like meeting new people?’ etc

I believe that many of the things people pick on as introvert faults are actually the very source of our gifts and strengths. It is not introverted that need fixing, it’s the way we perceive our introversion. And this is heavily influenced by the way you feel society and your social circles perceive it.

Introversion has nothing to do with being shy or awkward!

To overcoming shyness and awkwardness is done by me, by taking steps to boost my confidence and throwing myself into more social settings. To overcome I followed following steps

1. Recognize “introverted” traits

2. Recognize “extroverted” traits

3. Figure out whether you are introverted or shy

By following these steps I overcame my introvert nature.

Life at NMIMS is also challenging with so many brilliant students in competition but I’m sure I’ll be able to make my life BIG with my own energy and motivation.
