ABG is one of the few brands that I remember from my childhood. It’s a brand that has survived the test of time and proven that with willpower and determination, a brand can achieve global success. ABG is one such brand. They have played a key role in expanding consumer choice by bringing foreign brands like Allen Solly and Peter England to the masses. Their role in the ever-changing scenery of Indian cities is not prominent but ever-present through Ultratech cement. As the populace become more connected mobile phones become pivotal stage but in the absence of connectivity provided by companies like Vodafone-Idea are only dead weights towards economic progress. Clothing brands I rely on for my daily wear. It is probable that the Pepsi can I buy from the college canteen was processed by Hindalco or would soon be recycled by them.

In my childhood Pantaloons played a big part in my life. We could get affordable, high-quality clothes for the whole family in one place. So Pantaloons was the shopping destination for the family. Now brands like Van Heusen and Louis Philippe which are some of the largest apparel brands in India that offer premium clothing. The clothing of these brands makes me look more confident. The brand stood for quality at reasonable prices.

I have been an active subscriber to Vodafone since past few years and am impressed by the brand’s ability to stay the market leader despite such tough competition. Now with its merger with Idea, it has become the largest mobile service provider in India. Vodafone-Idea played an important role in my life by connecting me with my family with their amazing services.

ABG with its community initiatives and rural development schemes, tells us that not only brands but initiatives like these are a big part of our life as being a socially responsible company; it brings pride to me to be part of the ABG family.

In short, the Aditya Birla group has boosted India to new heights. Its success in black carbon is a huge win for the firm and also the Indian masses. They represent the drive of the masses, showcasing how an MBA candidate like me has the potential to make a mark in on the world.
