Aditya Birla Group is a common household name and we grew up listening about this brand. The famous cement company, Ultra Tech, I remember, was my father’s go-to choice of cement brand for any construction brand he was involved in.  The logo read “The Engineer’s Choice” and it truly was. The brand has continued to make its way into our lives by offering A class products in every field, be financial services, telecom, fashion or fabric. One of the biggest Fashion Outlets of the country Planet Fashion, a multi-brand store, made our lives easy by bringing all brands under one roof and made shopping so convenient and fun.  And in addition to all these, it continues to be a leader in social responsibility. When we buy from Aditya Birla Group, we buy with the knowledge that a portion of the money spent goes towards a social cause, which makes one proud. The brand has invested hugely in trying to eliminate poverty, educating children and providing employment to underprivileged. These are relevant issues in our country and the company does justice to is name and integrity by actively working to resolve these.

“Take any activity and push it as far as it will go, push it beyond where it has ever been, you have pushed it into the realm of magic.” These inspiring words kept me motivated to keep pursuing my dream to MBA from a top-B school. The entrance for MBA is very difficult and competitive with approximately 2,50,000 students applying every year. On top of that, I had only a few months and one chance to appear for it. The ride was a difficult one with long tiresome classes, fear of not being able to grasp concepts, poor performance indicators in tests, etc. Looking back, I realize that it was sheer dedication, hard work, focus and ability to maintain a calm mind that led me here. There were many naysayers along the way that made me feel like I can’t do it. But I turned a deaf ear towards everyone and focused on my goal. I was successful in hitting my target and this small achievement made me realize that nothing is “difficult, impossible” if you put your mind to it.
