Part A

If someone talks about investing, the first word comes in our mind is Warren Buffett CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. It is his words that a person should first save then spend. As I started earning, I wanted to follow the sayings of Warren Buffett. In search of ways to invest money I read various articles, talked to some good investing agencies but all in vain. Then on one fine day my father recommended me to visit myuniverse.in the best site for a novice who wants to invest his/her hard-earned money in some good scheme.

My experience with Zipsip was amazing. the way it begins interaction with the customer was something that was missing when I visited the some of the agents in person. It was quite amazing for me that a website can make me feel comfortable and an executive on phone can make me understand the basics of investing in stock market as it was something new for me. This was not the case with the other agencies either online or offline.

The guidance provided by the team helped me to get the knowledge of various mutual funds also, it allowed me to know about my risk-taking abilities by making me clear the difference between large cap, mid cap and small cap.

I am really grateful to my father for getting me connected with myuniverse and Aditya Birla Group for providing the facility of myuniverse thus, making it easier for the persons like me to invest and save our money.

Part B

It is often said that failures are the stepping stone towards the success and there is hardly any successful person who denies this statement. Failures arises when we try to do something new.

To begin with, my story relates to the days when I was pursing CA-IPCC and my first attempt was due in May 2012. I prepared for it and gave my best shot on the D-day. But as the results were declared I could see that my dream crashing as I could not clear it in the first attempt. I was feeling very low and wanted to do something to get out of it.

As I always remained an average student many of my friends and relatives recommended me to focus on my graduation and forget CA. While, I was in dilemma to choose the further path for me my parents came forward with a recommendation that if I want to leave this course go ahead, they will support me but, before leaving just try it for the one last time. As it was my dream so I thought that I should try it one more time.

I started preparing for the November attempt. I did the analysis what I did wrong in the last attempt so as not to repeat the same mistakes. This time I was more confident than in my first attempt. So, finally on 4th February 2013 my hard work was paid off by ICAI.

This phase taught me that a person must have a never to give up attitude only then he or she can achieve the dream they want to.
