Aditya Birla Group, though established in 1960s, had its foundation laid in 1870 when Seth Shiv Nadar Birla launched a cotton and jute trading business at Pilani, Rajasthan; and then the Birla group in overcoming the monopolies of British trading companies. It was after the Independence that the Birla group started developing its industrial empire and since then the group has expanded tremendously and today, as Aditya Birla Group (ABG), has its businesses established in various countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, China and Canada and is continuously contributing in our lives. Moreover, Aditya Birla Group, is in the League of Fortune 500 companies having an exemplary workforce of over 120000 employees belonging to 42 nationalities. Aditya Birla Group has a very varied range of products under various business names like Aditya Birla Chemicals, Cement, Fashion and Retail Limited, Payments Bank Limited, Carbon, Hindalco, Life Insurance, etc.
Since my childhood, I was quite impressed by Aditya Birla Group as they always had a product or service for any of my requirements. From almost all the toys, with which I used to play a lot, to all the favourite delicacies, which I used to savour a lot, most of the things that I had come across had a contribution of Aditya Birla Chemicals in it through food-grade chemicals, plastics, etc. Then during my schooling and college days also I have encountered ABG products most of the time like when looking any marvelous building or structure, as they were mostly made by using Ultratech Cement; while moving from one place to another or while studying as vehicle tyre and printing ink contains ABG carbon black; while going for apparel shopping, through Pantaloons, Allen Solly, Ralph Lauren, LP, etc; while carrying my food, freshwrapp and freshpakk helped me in preserving my food; while making provision purchases, ABG retail stores fulfilled all of my requirements; while connecting to people, IDEA networks; and also during making some savings, Payments bank.
Thus, at any point of time and any requirement in my life, ABG has always stood beside me and satisfying all the needs which make ABG a very important part of my life.
