What is big for us, for you, for me? Do we gauge “big” in terms of size, impact or growth? How do we define big? For me Aditya Birla Group does just that- it helps me define “big” –that “big” cannot be constrained;whatever is your “big”, it has to be ever-expanding and ever-evolving. That’s why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life. Aditya Birla Group provides an ecosystem which invigorates enthusiasm for betterment and empowers me as a user of its various brands, gifting me the confidence that I matter, I can grow, and I can break barriers. As a brand it exemplifies being limitless and yet grounded.
In the morning, the first thing I do when I wake up is switch on my Idea-Vodafone data pack-which brings the entire world on my screen, brought to me by my Idea-Vodafone. And then as I am getting ready for college-I slip on my favorite Liva kurta. It was 3-4 years back when I first tried on Liva fabric, and comfort, since then, has been redefined for me. In 1947 when Grasim had just started, nobody would have imagined such a fluid innovation would spin out in the next 60 years.(And isn’t that what brands are supposed to do- to add value to my everyday things, make them simple and better). Today Grasim is a big conglomerate producing textiles, chemicals, Cement, financial services etc. Further ahead in my day, since every second tyre in the world uses ABG’s carbon black, there is a fair chance of Aditya Birla Group being associated in my journeys till date. They are working all around me to give me a better, sustainable future- in my kitchen, my playground, my garage. Aditya Birla Group is not just producing products, but through research activities in ABSTC (Aditya Birla Science & Technology),it is also focusing on developing better energy efficient and eco friendly products.
Also, Aditya Birla Group is so much more than just being a brand that people buy; it would be no exaggeration to say that I have grown up eating lunch with contents neatly wrapped in Hindalco's aluminum foil. Further Hindalco has ensured safety and beauty of our homes by providing aluminum sheets and panels for the roofs and door. It is also a brand that people look up to: it is big on diversity, big on ideas, big on sustainability. Hindalco, for example, is mainstreaming the agenda for women in manufacturing.The ‘Breaking New Grounds’ Award at the Global Diversity Inclusion Summit, is a testimony to that. Brands that not only respect diversity, but try to include them in the best way possible are big for me. Also, to meet the aspirations of a rising India, Hindalco is exploring solutions and partnerships to achieve inclusive and sustainable growth for all. Thus, ABG is Big in my life, because it is not just about products, it is also about values. And for me impact is the new big.
