Aditya Birla Group has a huge role to play in my life just like it has in the lives of so many people around the world. I will take you through a normal day of my family and try to show how Aditya Birla Group has a solution to each one of our problems.
It is 8 in the morning and my mother is trying to pack my father’s tiffin. She is searching for the aluminum wrap. I find it on the kitchen shelf and it turns out that the brand is Freshwrapp by Hindalco. Hindalco is the flagship company of Aditya Birla Group in the metal industry and today it Is the 2nd largest aluminium company in the world.
I get a text that the college competition is at 12 pm today and I need to wear a dress. Being a plus sized girl, I have limited shopping options and I only trust Pantaloons as it has clothes from leading plus sized brands at all of its outlets. After the hassle-free shopping, I see Aditya Birla Group’s logo on their store. Pantaloons, India’s leading fashion retail store, is also owned the Aditya Birla Group.
Suddenly I see a message on my phone that my internet pack is going to expire. These messages don’t panic me anymore as the recharges are now easier thanks to the ‘my idea’ app. Idea-Vodafone, the biggest telecom company of India, is a part of the Aditya Birla Group. This was a surprise revelation for me after the merger of Idea and Vodafone.
Progressing into the day, I find my father ordering packets of Ultratech Cement for the construction of our new house. Ultratech Cement, company by of Aditya Birla Group is India’s no.1 cement brand and a trusted part of every Indian building.
These are a few examples of how Aditya Birla Group has been making our lives easier each and every day. From Birla Balvan helping our farmers to Ultratech cement making India stronger, Aditya Birla Group is ubiquitous. Not just on the corporate front, Aditya Birla Group are a leader in education too with their renowned technical and management schools making a mark on the Indian education system. Aditya Birla Group formerly Birla Group has been strengthening Indian economy for more than 150 years with the vision of going on for more than 150 years in the future too.

It all started in 1850’s when the Group’s founding father, Mr. Ghanshyam Das Birla expanded the reach of Birla Group in various industries such as aluminum, cement, textiles and chemical. It wouldn’t have been easy and there must have been a lot of challenges along his way but here we are reading about Aditya Birla Group, a 11.7 billion US$ conglomerate, crossing horizons every day adapting to this ever-changing world.
My journey so far has been one filled with fun and challenges too at the same time. Somebody said it right- “Change is the only constant”. Right from shifting to a different city for work to deciding to leave it all and pursue an MBA, my life has always been ever changing.
But we humans are never very adaptive to changes. Our brain is hard wired to avoid changes and form patterns everywhere. The new life waiting for me was exciting but daunting at the same time. Adjusting to work pressure, deadlines and late-night office hours was a humongous task for a small-town girl who had stepped out of her comfort zone for the first time in her life.
That was when I understood two very important life lessons:
1.) Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. You start becoming the better version of yourself as you step out and experience things life has to offer.
2.) Randomness is the only constant and adjusting to this randomness is the only real law of life.
With time, I started adjusting to everything happening around me. I adjusted even to the randomness of my work. After I made my mark at my workplace, I again wanted to do something new. That is when MBA caught my attention and I started preparing for it. At first, I could not manage my work and studies at the same time and this is when I learnt the third important lesson of my life.
3.) 24 hours are never going to be enough for you if you do not know how to manage your time well and work efficiently in the stipulated time.
I mastered the art of managing time and the end result is in front of everyone. I still face challenges and life has been teaching me new lessons every day. But I am thankful for believing in myself and proud that I went out of my comfort zone. I am proud that I Stepped Out!!
