PART-A

When I think of the organisations around me, one thing that comes to my mind is the impact they have on us. Impact can be of any sort and magnitude but they do change our lives for the better. They make our lives smoother and advanced from yesterday. One perfect example of this is ADITYA BIRLA GROUP which is in the market for the past 162 years and has worked hard everyday to bring us a variety of products. It built a brand  that we can trust and rely on. This multinational conglomerate was founded by Shiv Narayan Birla and has a major impact on my life. I will discuss about them one by one.

I was born in the year 1995 and that is the year when Birla group brought IDEA in the market which was inevitably a big change. I am a user of this network for the past 10 years and has never been disappointed from any of their services. Despite a tough competition from other networks, I never felt a need to change as I am a “Satisfied customer” of Idea and the merger of Vodafone and idea brings only joy to me as Vodafone is also a big player in the market. One other example is ULTRATECH CEMENT, presence of which is effective in everyone’s life. Be it a family function or a meeting in my office, I think of only LOUIS PHILLIPE, ALLEN SOLLY and PETER ENGLAND which are also a part of the Aditya Birla group. These brands set up a standard for Branded apparels and made it easy for me to choose amongst the best.

PART-B

I just try to remember a lesson in my life from Aditya Birla Group which is that they didn’t start big but they became big by all the hard-work they did. Despite all turbulent times, they NEVER GAVE UP on the vision that they follow and that is what I apply in my life when I face challenges. I try to learn from my mistakes and want to keep trying until I succeed. I faced many challenges in my life, be it failure in the competitions or failure in my plans. But one thing I learned is to never accept the defeat and keep fighting for the things that you think you’re worth of. I will tell you an example of a challenge that I faced while pursuing my graduation. In 2nd year of my college, I had difficulty in managing cultural societies simultaneously with my studies. There came a threshold point where I thought of leaving the societies as suggested by my batchmates. But as I said, I was always a believer of trying till the last extent and thus, this never giving up insight of mine encouraged me to work harder. Therefore, I made a new schedule, in which I divided all the tasks into smaller assignments. I then prioritised these tasks on the basis of their importance and urgency in a way that the most important and the most urgent tasks had the highest priority, whereas the unimportant and non urgent tasks were kept for the end. This helped me grow as a person as well as strengthened myself, helped me prioritise things, developed my time managerial skills and helped me maintain the balance in the work. As a result, I never experienced the same problem ever again. This was just one of the examples of how I deal with the challenges. I used to think about them and then act appropriately.
