How many of us can look back in life and imagine when everything was simpler?
Let us go back to our school days, when we were dragged to the school bus, against our will, and sent to a place we did not want to go. Even as we sat in those classrooms, with the bliss of not owning a cellphone, we waited restlessly for the lunch break so that we could open our box of delicious Paranthas wrapped in foil. Weren’t the Paranthas delicious? Wouldn’t we be grateful to our mother for making them?
But I never showed that same gratitude to the farmer who planted and grew wheat in the scorching heat, took care that plant was the most nutritious, and pest free. Coming back to school, I would make use of my books to make paper planes than ever write. The sky and space used to excite me and the museums and planetarium get a way where the best memories of my childhood. Such small things used to be more important in life.
I have come a long way since then, and as an adult, I find myself awestruck by just the sight of huge skyscrapers, bridges, the huge factories in our country and access to data has brought people closer. While I spent most of my time admiring the world, I never spent time finding out what was just hiding in plain sight. Something that was there in every memory that I went through and every activity I would do in my daily life. From the tires of the school bus to the foil taking care of the Paranthas. From the fertilizers the farmer uses to take care of his crops, to the mobile phones that we talk in, to the planetarium that we may have visited in school. The cement we use in building such huge scrappers to the clothing that we wear. Everything has Aditya Birla written over it.
Aditya Birla Group has been involved in transforming our lives in the most subtlest of ways and yet transform the country into what it is now.
