PART A
Aditya Birla Group (ABG) has always been a big part of me since my childhood as every Diwali I used to purchase new clothes and every time I purchased it from only one brand, and then I came to know that the brand is nothing but a part of ABG itself, it is one of the best brands in our country when you talk about formal and casual wears especially the festive ones, you might have guessed the name by right now, yes you are right it is none other than Peter England. Whenever I see the boarding’s of Peter England a sudden nostalgia hits me every time, The time when I used to go out for Diwali with my Mom and Dad to the mall and we used to see every shop and look out for the perfect clothes to wear and every time we found what we were looking for only at Peter England. And that is also when I had no knowledge about what the brand is,. It has always been known for unmatched style and quality and for many years it has been one of the best brands in casuals and formals. Having said that, ABG is not only restricted to clothes but has many subsidiaries and have been a part of everybody`s life, in fact, our mobile phone`s body is made by none other than Hindalco which is again a subsidiary of ABG group. ABG has also been very active in fulfilling their social responsibility as they had immunized about 70 million of children against polio and played an important part in making India a polio-free state and they have been providing midday meals every day to about 63000 students in 268 schools. They do not stop here they have been a part of everybody`s life in one way or another it can be in as a way of lifestyle or in wealth management or in their CSR activities if I began to state all of that then I may need more than a day or two to write all of that and even then I will not be able to explain in words.
PART-B
In our everyday life, we have to face challenges in order to achieve our aspirations and goals and so I also have to face them in order to be in among one of the best B- schools of our country. Believe me, it was not a smooth drive to here as in the journey I faced my worst nightmare and that was the loss of my Grandmother who was everything for me, my mother, my guardian and her only wish was to see me in the B- school but unfortunately, she couldn`t. The fact that she was no more, it was like a part of me inside died, I grew anxious, I was unable to focus on my studies and exam which was just a month away. So, one day when I was just thinking of her it made me realize her only goal was to see me successful and if I give up now it would be wrong so I started doing meditation and exercise in order to stay focused on my goals, I wanted to channelize this pain and anger in the right way and in somedays my focus was back on track and I was able to give my 100% when it mattered the most. And when the results came I could not believe my eyes and the first thought which came to my mind was that she will be smiling from the heaven and will be saying “I told you so” because she was the only person who believed in me and she was the reason I believed myself that I would be able to pull off the one thing when it mattered the most. So, the most important thing which I learned from this is don`t give up always have faith within you, never lose hope because it is up to your hard work that matters the most and nothing else and Believe me, hard work always pays off.
