Luckily for me being born and brought up in a well-educated family in a metropolitan city I did not have to face harsh personal challenges but I always feel the first job as a fresher is a challenge in our life which we need to overcome in order to achieve our job satisfaction.

Transition from a student life to corporate world was a challenge not only in terms of environment but also in term of attitude. As a fresher joining one of the top MNC’s it was a huge challenge for me to adjust in the environment and also deliver up to their expectations at the same time. I was assigned directly a client facing project which followed Agile and hence there was a very little time for learning and faster action was expected. Soon after 4 months of assistance I was assigned individual development modules which included direct interaction with client and for that I had to work 11-12 hours minimum. As a fresh college graduate preparing for MBA entrances it was difficult for me to balance the workload as well as study for exams. But I made a strict timetable, followed it, and made sure I studied in travelling and ensured I left no stones unturned. This, not only resulted in me cracking MBA CET entrance exam but also, I earned appreciation from my employers for my work and received award for same. It was a huge challenge for me to work 11-12 hours and study and yet accomplishing my goal of MBA.
