Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life?
Aditya Birla Group is one of the first names that comes to my mind when I think of Indian Conglomerates that have made it large in the entire world. ABG spans a total of 34 countries and employs 1,20,000 employees. This group hasn’t just made it large in the world, but has touched many lives including mine.
So many activities of my day-to-day life are touched by the Aditya Birla Group. First, I am able to easily contact my family and friends and use high speed mobile internet because of Vodafone Idea Limited. Vodafone SuperNet 4G enables me to do research on the go and transcend borders of communication.
Second, in a B-school, formals are an integral part of proper dressing. And as said by Edith Head rightly , “You can have anything you wish iin your life if you dress for it “ . Aditya Birla Group caters to our demand of formal clothing for women by providing an exclusive range by Allen Solly Women and Van Heusen Women. All the formal clothing I have purchased is courtesy of the Aditya Birla Group.
Third, the Aditya Birla Group has also had a role in keeping my food hygienic and fresh for almost 15 years. The Freshwrapp product after serving its purpose of keeping my food fresh, also served as a cricket ball with which my classmates and I share the fondest memories. Fourth, Ultratech cement is ensuring the integrity and strength of the infrastructure I frequently use (like the Bandra Worli Sea Link), the housing society where I reside and all the educational buildings I frequent. There are many more products and brands of this group that directly impact my life.
Contribution towards Corporate Governance and Financial Management by Aditya Birla Group is quite large . The Aditya Birla Group also indirectly impacts my life by taking measures to improve our society and country and making it a better place for all of us to live. Its CSR initiatives in Healthcare, Education, Livelihood, Infrastructure and its endeavour in making model villages is indeed making our society better. The Group is also acting responsible towards its actions which will impact the future generations and has thus rightly taken Sustainability into account.
This is how Aditya Birla group is big not only in my life but in the life of lakhs of people everywhere.
As human beings, we all face certain challenges at different points in our life, but the important thing about these challenges is that they help us to grow for the future. The key to overcome the challenges in our life is a positive attitude and positive personality towards the challenges.
During my life, I have faced many challenges, and have also tried to use those challenges as a tool to learn a thing or two out of all those challenges. One of the challenges that I faced was during my junior college in standard 12th, it was my first time presenting about a topic to the entire class. There was a stage fear which was holding me back of speaking smoothly in my presentation.
But, to overcome my stage fear, I needed to practice continuously so that it should not be a reason again in any of my future presentations. And that’s what I did, I started practising my stage fear to the smaller crowd which for me was my friends. Slowly as I practised, the stage fear in me was reducing, thus helping me in addressing a larger crowd. Coming to Delhi for an MBA is also one of the challenges that I faced in the form of getting acquainted with the city. It is hard to live in a city which is not your home. But, slowly trying to know everyone and everything about the city is what made me feel comfortable living here. I am sure I will come out positively in this opportunity too that I got.
So the key to overcome my challenges was to have an attitude of “I can” and not “I cannot”. Positivity coupled with continuous practice in handling the challenges is a very efficient way that one can use to deal with any problem in one’s life. All the challenges have helped me to get through my tough period and also have helped me to achieve my ambitions in life.
