Part A
There are some brands which we can always associate us with and one of the prominent brands which has one of the oldest childhood memories is Aditya Birla Group. It’s a brand I associate with on a daily basis is a worthy group with great values. Its vision has transformed into milestones as a multinational power brand of statesman stature.
In a personal context, ABG has had a huge impact on my life, in ways both big and small. For instance, Pantaloons has been my go-to fashion brand for all casual and comfort apparel needs for years, and it’s not likely to change anytime soon. Moreover, I’m also brand loyal towards Louis Phillipe whenever I need to shop for Shirts due to its unparalleled collection of sizes and variants.
Staying away from family is tough but unable to talk to your parents because of poor signal connectivity is the worst thing that could happen. Thankfully I never faced this issue because I use Vodafone-Idea cellular which not only provides great signal connectivity but also gives me high-speed access to 4G services anywhere and everywhere. Ultra-tech cement was my father's go-to choose when we were building our home.
The Lifetime kind of big. It exemplifies sustainable growth which is commendable as it continues to give back to society and to make conscious efforts to make this planet beautiful. It has collaborated with Start-up India to promote innovation in breakthrough technologies, address the environmental concern and enhance the customer experience in this country of umpteenth untapped potential.
ABG doesn't have customers, they have a family which is the whole world and I am lucky to be a part of this big family.
Part B
There was and there is in me an entrepreneurial zest that empowered me to try something risky and new in life. I was in the second year of my graduation in Kolkata when I wanted to have my own startup. After a lot of deliberations, I decided that I will start a tiffin delivering start-up with my college friend. We built up a business plan and collaborated our pocket money for the start-up.
There were various challenges which we had to overcome starting from deciding our target customers, the menu, delivery timing, delivery cost, price and many more. It took us a week to plan out everything and start the business.
The business operation was started and we were doing the required marketing to make our start-up popular among the students. But as it is rightly said that the future is uncertain and one has to account for all possibilities, we were bombarded with various issues ranging from late delivery, cost management and menu preference. We decided that this is not the time to give up. We doubled our efforts and started fixing the issue one by one.
After a smooth run of 4 months things started to slip from our hands and problems started to show up. This time things were different. There was lack of trust and confidence among us i.e. me and my friend. Problems started to pile up and we were not able to manage our start-up. A sensible choice for us was to pause our operation for a while and negotiate on what can be done with the situation.
After a lot of discussion we came to an agreement and started the operations again.
