Like every other person, I also had an innate desire of looking good and feeling `accepted’ in the socio-economic circle. The word fashion instantaneously brings a flash of color with a dash of glamour in the mind. Fashion plays an increasingly important role in an individual’s life because it is considered as a means of self-expression. The garments and accessories that man or women wear, help them to identify with a group of others whether it is a lifestyle, profession, a religion, or an attitude. Clothing is something that gives confidence to a person in his life. Clothing is one of the things that gave me immense confidence in life, without proper clothing I won’t find myself prepared for any important occasion. That’s when Aditya Birla’s Peter England helped me. Peter England’s apparels gave me that comfort which I find in the clothes I wear. Peter England ,one of the top 5 most trusted brands in the apparel category has built the trust of authenticity in the youth of India.
Even on the most important day of my life, I relied again on the brand I Trust- Peter England. The day was my interview for the admission at Indian Institute of Management, Raipur. The Suit, I wore gave me such comfort and confidence that I was able to display my strengths without any flaw because of which I was able to study at my dream institute- IIM-Raipur. I only have praises for the Aditya Birla Group, because, like me, they have influenced and helped the youth of India in achieving their goals by continuously producing quality products in every sector.
My LIFE challenges and how i came overcame from it:
When I started with my own social media page startup, the first problem we faced was that we needed a team and it was a new concept so we had to convince people to believe in the idea so after a lot of convincing we made a team. Then the biggest problem we faced was that people were not finding the page credible because we had only 100 likes or so. And the page was not growing so to overcome this problem I thought of the logo launch, I believed that if our logo is launched by a member of parliament then people will find the page credible. So we met MP Ranjan Bhatt and explained about the page. She agreed to help us for the same. And after a successful logo launch and a lot of promotion of logo launch event, the likes and followers began to increase and soon we reached our target of 1 lac likes. Then we successfully organized various events throughout the city and became the online partners of various municipal events and college fests.
The Second challenge which I faced in my professional life is when I was given the opportunity to lead a team of technicians who had massive experience in the industry and on the other end, I was quite new to the industry. Being a fresher, I was leading a team for the first time. The biggest challenge was to gain their trust as they sometimes had better practical knowledge than me so I had to lead them as well as gain knowledge of the industry at the same time. I was able to overcome both of these challenges successfully.
