Part B
I have been a quiet and reserved person all throughout my life. Hence, I am not very comfortable in talking or confronting with people. Prior to starting my MBA, I used to stay in solitude most of the time because of which I didn’t socialize much. But MBA requires one to socialize and network with people as much as possible. This was the biggest challenge that I had to overcome. Being an introvert, the biggest task at hand for me was to confront people and engage in any sort of conversation. But MBA taught me the need and importance of it and gave the required impetus to overcome this hurdle.
The first step towards achieving this was to get along with the club/committee seniors, working alongside them and pulling off events together. I knew that it was a great opportunity for me to get past the obstacle and socialize with not only the students but also the corporate guests who are invited for such events in the college. So, I decided to make full use of this opportunity and it actually helped me overcome my fear.
Now, I am a much more confident person than I used to be while addressing the crowd. Also, becoming the Vice President of a club was another added advantage. Being understood as a worthy individual for the post boosted my confidence to higher levels.
