Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, a theory in psychology proposed by Abraham Maslow in his 1943 paper, used the terms "physiological", "safety", "belonging and love", "social needs" or "esteem", and "self-actualization" to describe the pattern through which human motivations generally move. How I Overcame the biggest struggle in my life

My father expired just 2 months before my board exams and everything seemed to be at a standstill. My brother was in his final year of MBBS and we had no shelter of our own other than the rented home. At that moment I had a do or die situation, either breakdown or just buckle up and live to fulfill the dreams of my parents. I took inspiration from my brother and studied hard as if there was no tomorrow. Finally I was able to secure 92 percent(Science section) and was able to get direct admission in Class 11. Apart from academics, I supported my mother on the emotional side. Yet again my brother had played a big role in it, the bond between us became stronger. We slowly started planning for a home of our own. I worked on designing along with my brother along with the preparation for entrance exams. After class 12th I had to drop a year due to certain priorities related to family and I willingly took it. After a year, I joined my engineering, and hence as a team we faced the rigorous and difficult period. This period was a huge stone to carry both emotionally and financially but with consistent inspiration and push from my mother and brother I was able to put my best foot forward. Those days I kept promising myself that I would draw a smile on my mother's face and till today i ensure that the smile is consistent.
