Aditya Birla Group has always been a part of my life in one form or another. It starts from something as basic but necessary like my home, which was built using the Birla White cement. And from there it continues to influence all the necessary services like insurance, mobile network, financial services and products like clothes, aluminium, cement, PVC floor covering, etc. My father has insured my entire family by Birla Sun Life Insurance Ltd after consulting the Birla Insurance Advisory and Broking Service Ltd. So was the car that my father bought. The flooring in my house is very classy and artistic thanks to PVC floor covering from Aditya Birla Group The very first SIM card I bought was of Idea Cellular. I had really good experience with it. It was the first time I experienced how fast 3G internet was. Though that was also the time I experienced how quickly 3G burns through data balance. I ended up using 700 MB from a total 1 GB in a few hours watching my favorite anime that I hadn't watched in years. Though Idea cellular did struggle like most others from telecom industry after the entry of Jio which disrupted the entire industry, I am glad that its merger with Vodafone resulted in second largest telecom entity in the entire world. My mother and sister are big fan of pantaloons clothes. The huge variety of clothes available in the pantaloons always gets them excited. Trying different styles available was what they spent hours on. I have many such memories of the various products of Aditya Birla Group.
PART B
The most challenging time of my life was when I was in my seventh semester during my Computer Engineering. I had to study for the college exams, assignments, presentations while working on multiple mini projects for that semester and final year project. I also had to prepare for the various entrance exams like CAT, IIFT and CET at the same time. I also had to improve my Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension scores which were just around 85 percentile at the start of the semester. It was the first time I had to deal with such a hectic schedule. To deal with it, I prepared a time table to follow. The biggest trouble I had in creating the time table was the fact that there was no fixed schedule of assignments and presentations. So the I had to keep some days free at the end so that I could push back my plans by a few hours to a couple of days depending on the tasks given. This experience helped me a lot in teaching me about how to do time management. The end result was that I completed all my assignments on time, cleared my college exams with a 8+ CGPA, achieved 99.83 percentile in CAT with 99.80 percentile in Quantitative Ability, 99.34 percentile in Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning and managed to improve my scores in Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension to 97.61 percentile. I also achieved over 99 percentile in both IIFT and CET. This gave me a great confidence in my ability to multitask.
