How Aditya Birla Group is omnipresent in my life
As an individual from the land of Koshal culture, I find the Aditya Birla Group’s involvement in Industrial sector in Western Odisha a big step towards establishing the hallmark of prosperities and opportunities. Aditya Birla HindalCo, which is committed to provide world-class Aluminium operations with proximity to resources, is situated within the vast area of Hirakud, the largest earth dam in the Asia and a bountiful greenery clads its peripheral area. Known as Hirakud FRP, Hindalco Industries Ltd., also known for its excellent, efficient copper smelting operations techniques with logistics advantage, significantly has promoted a systematic work-culture among the employees of the manufacturing plant. Though it’s a small manufacturing factory, the talented pool of people working over there have the testimonies which has instigated a sense of shared responsibility to work towards the prime goal of delivering the best industrial expertise from Western part of Odisha.
Apart from that, as someone who’s a customer and a buyer of garment goods, I’m very well aware of Liva fabrics. With the USP of “Natural Fluid Fashion” as tagline, it believes that inclusivity towards women of all shapes and size should be able to wear the latest runaway; trends in their daily lives without compromising on fabric quality. Fashion IS about feeling good, not just looking good; it also comes easily- that’s what caught my attention when Aditya Birla Grasim launched it in the market. I was really fascinated by the fact that the quality of the clothes at an attractive and affordable price segment can be purchased in leading brand stores all across India!
Telecommunications, finances, construction, including little things- what else is there where ABG is not present?
I think I have to move mountains!
Ambitions without crossing hurdles? Sprints are fun!
Being someone from a lower middle class family, my journey to IIM Raipur is really worthy of a story. Coming from a family which has always emphasized on higher education, especially my father who built his own way to sustain in this world, I've always been encouraged to pursue the best I want. He strongly believes his vision of uplifting our rural community back in our native place can only be done by providing education- one kid at a time. I want to realise his dreams on a larger scale by establishing educational institutions for mainstream and vocational training. The nitty-gritty of planning, fundraising, strategy and marketing are some of the things which will help me to get there. Down the line, I see myself contributing to social entrepreneurship sector. So far, the journey was never easy, neither it’s a cakewalk right now. Life events had took a toll on how I perceive my life and accordingly, I have tuned my strategy, not my ambitions. With the persistence and belief that my smart-work will take me to places is one of the reasons why I’m a part of one of premier institutes in India. At the same time, I’m aware of the fact that my feet are on a strong footing with the footprints of my ancestors who lived their lives in the hopes of a better future for us. So, I want to carry on this legacy by contributing back to the society.
