The group is one of the leading global players in VSF (Viscose Staple Fibre) with 17% of the global share. How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?
Challenges are a part of everyday life. They make us stronger and without them life becomes somewhat meaningless because we have nothing to compare the good times to. These challenges come in many forms. But, regardless of the challenge, facing up to it is key. Facing up to challenges and living through them give us the experiences that make up our life.
Every one of us faces multiple challenges. For me one of them was getting back my confidence in college. Like any engineering aspirant I was preparing for entrance tests in 11th and 12th classes. It was during that time I stopped interacting with friends and family. Also I stopped participating in classes or competitions. Till the time I had joined college my confidence had reduced significantly and couldn’t focus on tasks. I decided to take steps towards working on my self-confidence and focus.
I started meditating and gradually interacting more with people around me. It was very difficult in the starting but took help of my friends. I was persistent and this had a positive impact on me. The results started showing in a few months and it gave me motivation and confidence boost to continue. This also increased my focus. For me overcoming this challenge was not easy. But this experience taught me that you need to make your choices and work hard, have courage, fall and pick yourself again, dust your clothes and continue to walk forward.
