Aditya Birla group is a conglomerate which had deeply impacted mine and millions other lives as well. The wide range of products they offer has touched everyone’s life at one point of time. Personally, talking about my life, both college and professional life it touched with ABG products. The clothing brands such as Peter England, Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, etc are part of my daily wardrobe. Even 2 hours before writing this article I was in a Van Heusen suit sitting in a seminar hall with a Managing director. Louis Phillipe & Allen Solly has come to my rescue be it on first day of college, a happening party or be it casual Friday in office. My house reminds of me of trust my family places in ABG and quality of its construction material as it is made of Ultratech cement and there are millions out there who trust ABG to provide safe and strong roof. ABG overtime has become synonymous to trust and supreme quality. ABG visions is not just stuck to retail, cements & manufacturing but it believes in providing education, medical services and assistance to students is what inspires me. A lot of initiative has been taken up as a part of CSR activity my ABG like Aditya Birla Scholarship, Aditya Birla World Academy, Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital etc impacting millions of lives. My most productive years and what I am today, credit goes to BITS Pilani, vision of Ghanshyam Das Birla. As I am done writing, I need to get back to work & I can see a peter England shirt lying in front to save my day

Cofounding LEAP was one of the biggest challenge I faced till now. It was during my third year at BITS that me and my team were handed over the mantle and given freedom to run Youthcon whichever way we see fit. After multiple brainstorming sessions, in which we touched topics as objective, procedures, results etc of Youth Conference, we came up with idea of LEAP. The day laid foundation for launch of LEAP. We connected with our seniors to for their constructive feedback. They gave us a deep understanding of treacherous water we will be treading into and how exhausting it will be. They left the final decision on us. We proceeded with plan to launch it as the impact LEAP would create would be much higher impact than YouthCon. After initial conceptualization and making a roadmap, we in a team of 15 began working on it. After a gruelling period of 4 months, involving invitations and interests from various student run social bodies, mentors who were expert in NGOs functioning, creation of platform, and operations planning, our idea was close to fruition. Unfortunately, due to ongoing Jaat protest the program came in danger. Our responsibilities increased multifold. We had to push it forward by 2 weeks which impacted timeline of our incoming student societies as well mentors coming in from well-established NGOs. We had to assure the participants of their security as well make their travel plans, and sometimes arrangements as well. Finally, we concluded LEAP successfully on its 2nd day with all the mentors and major participant teams turning up. The experience of conducting it is stamped in my memory.
