Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life

“The true measure of your worth includes all the benefits others have gained from your success”, quote of Cullen Hightower, is rightly applicable for Aditya Birla Group. Group which started its journey from small cotton business in 1857 has reached to every home. Today, Aditya Birla group operates in 35 countries with over 120,000 employees. We all must have very close connection with some of the products of Aditya Birla Group. For me, it was their retail fashion brands who grabbed my attention first. I bought my first polo T-shirt from shopping mall from Van Heusen outlet in Mumbai. Even my first suit for my graduation convocation was brought from Peter England. Currently my cupboard is full with shirts and T-shirts of Allen Solly and Louis Phillipe. Apart from fashion sector, I use Vodafone as my telecom operator. I had the best of experience using it. Their network, calling and data plans, customer service is at par. All my family members use Vodafone services. No wonder they are India’s largest telecom provider. These were just the examples which we could commonly spot. There are so many Aditya Birla Group products that are revolving around us that we don’t even realize. Cement with which our houses are built, material of tyres of the cars from which we go around from one place to another are all made by Aditya Birla Group. Along with many profitable industries, they also care about people. We all could spot their social organizations working around us for human welfare and social development. With their consistent hard work, they have made special place in the hearts of the people which can’t be replaced.

How you overcome challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far

There are many challenges we overcome on daily basis without even realizing it. Right from burning a gas stove to tackle with unpleasant guest ‘cockroach’. We all have different weaknesses and solutions for everyone are different. Let me start with some of my recent weaknesses. Giving example of one, When I was preparing for my MBA college entrance exams, I faced an issue with English section. After facing failure in my first 2 attempts, I analysed my mistakes and tried to work on my English. I read multiple newspaper, columns and other articles. I was determined to score good and I knew that my hard will be paid off. Eventually it led to my success in scoring good in verbal section. We all have weaknesses but it is all about how you find a way out. Even in childhood, I never used to go to water park because of fear of drowning. But then I decided to let go of my fear and learn swimming. Today, I never miss a chance to swim anywhere if possible. Our fears will actually become our strengths. The person who think of drowning may end up saving someone’s life. I had one more such experience with trekking. I had height phobia, Because of which I used to miss fun with my friends who used to go for trekking. One day I decided to overcome my fears and go for one trek. I got so good experience that after that I ask people to come with me for treks. Sometimes our real enemy is ours mind. If our will is strong, nothing can stop us from achieving what we want. The only hurdle between us and our dream is ‘just one try’.
