My experience with Aditya Birla Group has been an excellent journey. I was five years old when I first stepped into my primary school. I was thrilled to attend my first day of school. My mother had packed my favourite lunch. I just couldn’t wait to eat it but was also worried as to what if it got cold, I did not like cold food. Lunch commenced and I quickly opened my lunchbox. The pratha was hot. I was delighted and enjoyed my paratha with the aloo subzi. From that moment onwards, Freshwrapp has been always a part of my lunchbox packings. Aditya Birla Group had become a part of my life in many ways from then. The grey Liva bag was my constant in school. In my teenage, People and Van Heusen tops became one of my preferred brands due to their comfort and patterns. They were cool and trendy and aligned with my personality. When I started preparing for my CAT exam, I was to buy out a business suit for the necessary actions and with no doubt in my head I went to the Van Heusen outlet and got myself pampered at the store. ABG has not only been of an essential contribution in my life right from my childhood to till date but also my family’s. My grandfather was adamant on using of only UltraTech for his own house building. Idea has helped people stay connected and get access to fast-speed internet at affordable prices and make India experience that level of exposure to further grow. ABG is touching lives from kids to the senior citizens worldwide.

One of the challenges I faced and overcame with confidence. I have not faced a major challenge so far, although a significant challenge was the internship offered at Honeywell. It was the first stepping stone in my professional career and as much as I was excited, I was nervous as well. I was a part of the newly formed ‘DevOps’ team wherein we intended to build an end-to-end automation from development of code to its deployment. The company does not provide any training or seminar and believes in self-learning due to which I was left on my own to speculate my work. Coming straight from college, I found myself thrown in a completely new environment which altogether had completely different perspective to look at problems and find out their solutions. We were provided only desktops (and no laptops or alternative for remote access of the systems) due to which I used to attend office from 8 am till 7 pm and also continued the learning at home too. I read through several lines of codes written in different languages and tested my understanding by adding features and fixing bugs in the code. I not only worked technically but upon deployment of the tool, I partook in customer interaction to improve the collaboration and addressed their requirements. I took the environment lucratively and understood the tactics used by the management to assess the employee. I learnt that solution to any difficult situation can be derived by staying composed, assessing the issue, brainstorming alternatives and plan to execute. Determination, enthusiasm, dedication and conviction are the keys.
