It would be unfair to say Aditya Birla has influenced my life at one point in a single aspect of my life. My family has been associated with many of the products that Aditya Birla Group has been producing since inception in 1857.
One of the ambitious dreams every Indian family has is to build their own house. Aditya Birla’s UltraTech Cement was one of the options we have considered. Upon enquiry from vendors and past customers, they have vouched for the strength, the high degree of bonding and its durability. Our home was constructed 9 years ago and never did we have a complaint regarding the structural integrity or minor flaws in the structure. Aditya Birla Group has helped to fulfil our dream.
The second most important change that Aditya Birla Group brought about was through Vodafone Idea. I first left home for under graduation to a different state. The only connection which I had with my family was through phone. Being from a middle-class family, Vodafone Idea, through its affordable plans helped me to stay in touch every day. With the advent of time and technology and through data services from Vodafone Idea, the distance has only grown smaller. As truly said an “Idea can change your life”, Aditya Birla Group has encouraged me to follow the less strode path and to think on my own.
Apart from this, there are many instances in my life where Aditya Birla Group has touched my life ranging from small things like clothes to big projects like a house. Aditya Birla Group has become a family member, whom we place our trust and turn to during hard times for inspiration.
How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions
As Obama rightly said, “You should never view your challenges as a disadvantage. Instead, it's important for you to understand that your experience facing and overcoming adversity is actually one of your biggest advantages.”
This is one of the biggest lessons of my life, each and every challenge in my life has only added to my knowledge and experience. I have always dealt with challenges by taking the time to evaluate the intensity, assessing the situation and figuring out the best possible way to overcome.
Initially, I was overwhelmed even by small challenges, however, with time I learnt to deal them with composure and steady-hand. There were some in which I failed to reach the other side, but it helped me learn and I never repeated the mistake again in my life. I was determined until I reached my goal, life has always tested my consistency and the only way I saw to pass this with flying colours is to work hard day in and day out.
There is no fun in achieving something without pushing the pedal and walking the extra mile. The end goal was something which I have always earned but not something I got. The only way I dealt with challenges was to welcome them with a smile, as each one of it had a lesson to impart, no matter what the outcome was. Hence as many people say, shortcut is never the right path, there is no shortcut to challenges in the path to greatness and excellence.
