I am here to discuss about why Aditya Birla group is big in my life based on some the valuable products which they produce since Indian independence.
For the past few years, I have confined myself to upgrade my wardrobe with clothes only from any of the group’s fashion and retail wing. This would include Vanheusen, Louis Phillipe and peter England. Whenever there is a need for formal shirts and suits, I , without any second thought, drive straight to one of the peter England’s showroom in my area. This is largely because of the nominal price and also the superior quality that maintain. Moreover, these brands are so easily available in any of the big textile showrooms across the city and hence availability is also a very important factor. Planet fashion, which is also a part of the Aditya Birla’s group, is a fashion retail chain across many cities in the country where we can find almost all the Indian textile brands for both men and women. The calm ambience in these showroom is also an advantage. Pantaloons, which is another retail chain of the group, is also found in almost all the tier 1 and tier 2 cities in India.
One of the other major branches of this group is the Aditya Birla Sun life insurance company. Almost all my family members are covered with the insurance taken from this company. The main reason for preferring Aditya Birla over the other insurance companies is their genuineness in their business and different plans for people with different income levels so that the insurance is affordable for all.
As we all know, the core of the Aditya Birla group’s team is comprised of people who, through their immense hard work, have reached great heights. Now, I would like to share some of my achievements in life and the obstacles that I overcame to reach where I am today.
Getting admission in one of the best B-schools is still a dream for many in the country. After I completed my engineering (like many others in this generation),I started my career in an IT company. There were so many ups and downs in the 3-year journey as an IT employee. There were so many lessons for life as well. As there was a shift from academics to work, I felt everything new. As politics is something usual in each and every workplace, I did not have any idea about how to handle it when I joined. Hence, I had to suffer a lot. There were instances when I even thought of giving up and quitting the company. Everyone who joined with me, felt the same in one way or the other. But at the same time, there were some people, who managed to handle all the trouble at the office and also made progress in their life either by getting promoted or going for higher education in some of the elite grad schools in the country. That was the time when I started to think in the same way. I started to prepare for competitive examinations without quitting my job in spite of me having to work for almost 11 hours a day. At times, I had to work during the weekends as well. After coming back from work, I used to prepare for 2 hours for the exams. This happened for almost 7 months. All these hard work did pay back by getting me an admission into one of the best B-schools which I always dreamt of. Hard work is the only key to success. Let’s do it! 😊
