Aditya Birla Group is a brand with which I associate on a daily basis. Its spirited advertisements, its fine quality products, everything about this brand brings positivity in my life. It is difficult to come across a phase of our life which has not been shaped by ABG. Foil and packaging items like Freshwrapp; apparel brands like Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe; fashion brand retail chains like Pantaloons, Planet Fashion, Forever 21; cement manufacturers like UltraTech; mobile network providers like Vodafone Idea Limited; food grade oxidant, Oxywhite; financial services like Aditya Birla MyUniverse-are few of the various brands which come under ABG and have a huge impact on our lives.
Especially for me, some particular brands have a major influence on my life as these brands are a part of my lifestyle now. Firstly, apparel brands like Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe have made me a much more confident person than I used to be. As I was giving various interviews for getting admission in a management course, I realized that being in a proper corporate attire plays an equal role as our other skills. So, these brands have added a great amount of value to my professional life. Secondly, if I talk about my personal life, ABG has a significant part in that as well. Being a VIP customer of Pantaloons, my wardrobe is filled with Pantaloons’ clothes and footwear. All the products are really affordable serving the needs of the middle income class. Apart from that, the collection is very classy and sophisticated making my lifestyle trendy. Thirdly, I’m a proud user of Vodafone, which I feel provides the best connectivity. Also, the internet connectivity is really good serving my needs wherever required.
So, it is clear that the influence of Aditya Birla Group is significant in routine activities of a customer making our lives smooth and modish at the same time.
You can't spell challenge without change: All of us must have faced certain challenges in various phases of our lives. These challenges help us to nurture ourselves for the future. They play a very important role in our lives. Like the people of ABG who have faced some challenges and grew stronger day by day to achieve their aspirations, I, too, have faced some hurdles in my life.
Sometimes, we get so much influenced by peer pressure that we tend to make certain choices which affect our lives tremendously. I was at a very crucial phase of my life, where I had to make a decision on which my career was dependent, that is, which stream to choose after my secondary school examination. I did not give it any thought, did not consider my areas of interests, just followed my friends’ footsteps and chose Science as my career path. My father told me several times to think about my decision as he wanted to make sure that I am choosing a subject of my interest and caliber. But as I was not thinking straight at that time, I consistently said that “I am made for Science”. So, everybody in my family thought that our daughter will become an engineer, and I went with the flow. This is where my problems began. After attending classes in my school and my coaching center for a month, I realized that Science is not my cup of tea. My father again asked me if I am able to grasp the concepts or do I want to change my stream, and my answer remained the same. Eventually, I struggled a lot between my school and coaching lessons, not understanding more than half of what is taught. I gave my best, did not leave any stone unturned, but my efforts were going in vain. So, finally, after cramming up the concepts of Physics and mugging up Chemistry, I got through my higher secondary examination. But these two years made me realize that I can’t learn something which I have no interest in. I knew back then that I have to overcome this draining challenge as soon as possible. So, I finally gathered some courage and told my parents that after a lot of thinking, I have decided not to pursue engineering and be a Statistics graduate as it always used to be my passion. My family supported me in my decision and after that I enjoyed whatever I studied. Learning became fun for me. And I still feel blessed because of my decision as it made me reach where I am today and made me an altogether different person.
So, I feel that everyone faces some challenges, but the most important aspect of it is that how we try to cross those hurdles and stand confidently after achieving what we always aimed for.
