With a strong consumer base, the group has been a pioneer in shaping the nation's economy just by the basic needs of the nation and people.
My experience with the group started with !dea in 2006. From then till date, I had retained !dea as my only network- that explains how satisfied I am with their service. For any organization, the biggest asset would be its consumers and the ABG's efforts to retain, respect and cater to their needs amidst immense competition are truly phenomenal. ABG's intent to value its customers is clearly portrayed even through their taglines- For example, Empower yourself( Van Heusen); My world my way( Allen Solley). Needless to say, middle-class masses like me would derive immense pleasure and pride by wearing these brands.
I still remember those days when we used to stay in long queues at More- the retail chain store which was once part of ABG. High price tags are notorious for surprising people- but at More, we were surprised to see those high-quality products with the lowest prices. Pantaloons is also one such single stop that has provided me jaw-dropping clothing collections at affordable prices.
I, hailing from a cement industry background, can more associate with ultratech as a brand and the benchmarks it has set. With its continuous expansion and strategy, it has become an Engineer's choice not only as a product to build my home but also as a dreamy company to work with.
ABG's omnipresence in metals, mining, communication and textile industry which provides employment to millions of Indians, directly and indirectly, has become a part of every individual's family.
As the popular saying goes, Success is a journey, not a destination. ABG, through its never-ending journey, is a quintessential model of success. This truly inspires me and I thank ABGLP for providing me an opportunity to express my gratitude towards ABG.

I am a firm believer in destiny. I also believe that life teaches you all the lessons and the experience gained from these lessons guides me to achieve success and create goals.
Throughout my journey called life, turbulence pushed me to expand my limits and brought out the best in me. In one of such incidents, there was a sudden breakdown of important equipment which resulted in an unplanned shutdown and loss of productive hours during the peak demand days. Along with the lack of skilled manpower to execute the job, the time constraint posed an unwanted quandary. That led to a crisis where we were only left with utilizing the existing manpower resources to their fullest capability. We were given 10 days of time to fix the issue which was sufficient for skilled workmen. With the unskilled manpower in hand, the situation propelled me to go with an idea of training the manpower for 2 days and execute the job within the remaining 8 days. Though this was perceived to be highly risky, I convinced my higher authorities and took the complete responsibility of the task. We devised an action plan and I was given the charge to execute as per the plan. It was through these 10 days period, I realized the true value of time and with proper guidance and support, we as a team were able to handle the issue efficiently. This plan averted the heavy manpower outsourcing cost and restored the status quo without any hassles. I made sure that this practice of training the manpower on a regular basis to avoid such unwanted situations.
Our team received applause from the top management. With my name receiving a special mention, it made me feel that I had created an impact on the organization. The satisfaction, pride and learning that moment brought can be cherished throughout my life.
