Part A
Aditya Birla group is a gift to India and with other conglomerates it helped to create backbone of India and is one of the pillars which support its massive economy.
Agriculture is the main income source for our family and for a good yield a good quality fertilizer is important for which we have trusted “Birla Balwan” fertilizer for years for great crop quality and with other lakhs of farmers utilising “Birla Balwan” to produce food to feed the nation.
For me the most cherishing memory of my childhood was eating food prepared by my mother and packed in “Freshwrap” to retain its taste and till this time whenever I unwrap my packed food it sends me back to childhood memory of opening my lunch box in the school. From childhood I have been fascinated about big structures such as dams and bridges and it was surprising for me to know that how the quality of cement plays a big role in durability and strength of the structures from this it was clear that was the engineers first choice was always “Ultratech” cement. The same fascination for structures lead to pursue engineering studies and move out of my nest. But far from home “Idea” kept me connected to my family and friends and also opened a world of knowledge for me to learn continuously and improve. As I graduated and became a professional it was important for me to look elegant and presentable all the time and brands such as “Louis Philippe”, ”Allen Solly” and “Peter England” have become an integral part of my wardrobe. And now that I have become an earning member of the family, as a responsible person I got my life covered with “Birla Sun Insurance”.
Aditya Birla Group has defined my past, present and today as I am proceeding towards next milestone of my life I look forward to get a chance to intern with Aditya Birla Group to transform into a leader and define my future.
Part B
During Engineering, giving presentation on projects done under each subject was part of the curriculum. I used to walk away from giving presentation as I had fear of public speaking and I also lacked confidence in speaking English as my schooling was in small town. To overcome this, I started taking up opportunities to give presentations and tried to eliminate my fear of rejection. Before giving any presentation I used to develop a thorough understanding of the subject being presented and organize the content to be spoken and practice it multiple times.
During my internship at Ecosoch Solar. I used to demonstrate the working of Solar PV systems to the visiting customers which further helped me improve. Also, I gave a lecture on Energy efficiency and management to more than 200 school teachers at The Energy and Resources Institute, Bangalore during my internship which was well received and the audience found the presentation insightful and it is till now the greatest achievement of my life as I have overcome my fear of public speaking.
