The Aditya Birla group ("ABG") is one of the most revered organisations in the corporate world which tasted the spectacular success because of its core values and beliefs among other factors.

I think it's impossible for any organization to survive in this business world for such a long period without having it's values and beliefs in the right place. Obviously the Company needs to change with the time but the values which are the core pillars for any business should never be compromised.
The ABG carved out a mark for itself not only in the domestic market but also in the global market due to its tight familial relations and traditional values. The ABG was able to imbibe its five core values on the next generations who followed it by letter and true spirit.
I remember the first day of my job where my dad gifted me a shirt which was a product of ABG. So that shirt was not just a gift for me but a symbol of responsibility which was passed down by my family along with the legacy which they carried over the years.
The first mobile phone which came into our family had a idea cellular network. Thereafter we have changed so many phones but the network has remained the same and will remain the same. The first reason for not changing the network by my family is obviously the distinguished services provided by the Company and another being our emotions attached to the first network. Moreover the campaigning of the punch line "what an idea, sir ji? " is still the best ad campaign I have ever seen. These campaigns were also carrying some underlined message like save the papers, walk when you talk etc. Its a perfect example of meeting customer needs profitably along with the special social message.
So as a budding manager I am confident of staying true to my values and principles in business as well as in social life. ABG has played and will always play a greater role in incorporating the values and staying true to it..
Overcoming challenges
What is the biggest fear of any sports player? Competitors?? No.. Injuries!!
What can be a more sad thing than to sit out of your game because of injury and watch your teammates playing. I am an athlete and when I was at my peak performance was suddenly struck with the injury. I was out of the game for whole year. It was one of the toughest challenge for me as a player.
The player is ready to sweat in the field but it is most difficult for him to sit out and watch the game. Moreover when the player returns back to the field there are several challenges which he need to overcome. One of them is while recovering from the injury.
When I returned to the field I had gained weight. Also as I started my training I always had the fear that whether the injury will reoccur or not. As I started participating in the matches I lost to the same players whom I had beaten in the pre-injury matches. Moreover I had never lost any sports matches before. So it was difficult for me to cope up with the loss. At one point I thought of leaving the game. But my passion of sports didn't allow to do that. So I decided to train harder irrespective of the results.
I trained really harder and made a comeback with a win. It taught me one thing that whatever may be the outcome one must stay calm and give his best. So this lesson from sports always push me to do my best.
