There is not even a single day where we have not witnessed the presence of ABG in our day to day life. Started in 1857 this group has paved the way to emerge as one of the finest group in Indian history which is continuously growing and enriching our lives with its products and services. With revenue of US$44.3 billion, it is the third largest conglomerate in India and has its business across various sectors like banking, metals, textiles, carbon black, telecom and cement.
Now if I talk about the presence of ABG in our everyday life, I can quote hundreds of examples where this group has made its presence. My first interaction which I remember was when my family built the home. There we used Ultratech cement and in this way I got to know about this group. As I grew older, my inclination towards branded clothes grew and that time again ABG came to rescue with its renowned brands in clothing. Be it Allen Solly or Pantaloons, each clothing brand provided me clothes as per my taste and preferences. Even today while writing this article I am wearing Allen Solly brand. Now if I talk about Vodafone-Idea network, my family has trusted this connection because of the services they provide and how they respond to our queries when you call them. This is about me now I will talk little bit about family too. My mother always prefers ABG’s freshwrap only, to pack food, and it’s been so many years, since my family has trusted only this brand and I am carrying my family legacy to use only freshwrap while staying away. Now coming to my father, he has always opted for ABG’s financial services to manage his portfolio, to invest somewhere or to plan his retirement.
I can confidently say yes ABG has enriched my life in many ways. I and my family have trusted this brand and I am sure we won’t deny this fact that knowingly or unknowingly ABG has touched everyone’s life.
How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?
I have always believed that there is no shortcut to success. Failing, learning and growing is the part of life. Despite all your hard work and dedication, life finds one way or other to make it harder for you. As the saying goes, the more you work hard, harder the hiccups come in your way. Working with TCS and simultaneously preparing for MBA exams was not an easy task. I was working hard but at that time my mother had a dengue and managing everything was becoming very difficult for me. That was the toughest time for me as my mother was very serious and I was not able to concentrate on anything. I regained my strength and gave my 100% for my target which was ultimately to get into good B school. I was trying to motivate myself that whatever will happen in future, I can’t change that but what is in my hands is to work hard and be there beside my mother, and by god’s grace my mother is perfectly fine and I am studying in NMIMS Bangalore. From this situation, I have learnt that never lose your senses, always try to calm yourself in tough situations learn from your past experiences and give your best shot.
