Having associated with Aditya Birla Group since 2006 as my father is associated with Idea, I have had the privilege to explore many brands of this conglomerate. I have seen the kind of employee satisfaction this company focuses on, be it employee engagement or incentive provision. Aditya Birla Group takes good care of its employees and keeps them satisfied. Having closely observed the work culture and provisions provided to its employees, ABG has changed the lives of many associated with it. Apart from sharing the employee bond, i have been closely related to the firm as a loyal customer. What drives that loyalty is the kind of services the brands under ABG provide that binds one to always come back again. We all have at some point of time used a product from this Indian house. All those years we opened our lunch boxes and removed the aluminium foil to it, we did not know we were using an ABG product. Astonishing, right? From corporate clothing by Allen Solly to comfort clothing and accessories from pantaloons, I have grown up with the group. Aditya group has made its mark in the industry by performing at par and even better than most of the brands present. With brands like Ted Baker, Aditya Birla Group has made a mark in the international fashion market too. With this, it has taken India to compete with brands worldwide, bringing laurels and respect. It has made a difference in my life; I am sure it has also in yours.

The major challenge I had in front of me is public Speaking. The fear of not being able to express myself used to haunt me while I got up to say something in front of a large crowd. I was sure, I had to do something in this regard and do it before this fear starts to eat opportunities out of my life. Breaking my comfort-zone, I decided to join Dramatics in graduation. The first public appearance I made in college was a Street play on LGBT rights. I had an important role and had to give a monologue. I was very scared to go for it. Fearing embarrassment if I forgot something, I told myself, Now or Never! That was a turning point in my life as not only the Street play go very well, but I was no more afraid in addressing crowd. Apart from it, I also developed a sense of self-confidence. I infer that nothing is impossible. One has to weigh each fear against the strength to analyse the need to fight with that fear. Challenges make us determined and give a direction to our lives. Looking at the journey I have undertaken so far, I have seen myself overtaking many fears and challenges that came across. Each challenge said the same thing, "Never give up". Getting stronger fear after fear, I am a person now who challenges herself daily with out of comfort-zone tasks and dilemmas.
