Aditya Birla Group conglomerate with a range of businesses across the globe (branded apparel, retail, financial services and business solutions) is a multi-ethnic and multi-dimensional group spanning across thirty-six countries and six continents, thus impacting the lives of many people around the world including myself.
Thinking back in retrospect, ABG has affected every Indian directly or indirectly. With my case being the latter, researching on products of ABG has made me develop a sense of admiration for the work they have established in the last century. So many of the branded apparel products make my wardrobe complete. Allen Solly, Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Peter England just to name a few are brands sought and talked about by people from all walks of life. The construction of the Brandra-Worli sea link has given the roads of Mumbai a breather helping commuter’s travel more seamlessly and likewise allowed me to reach college quickly giving me less headache in that process.
Having the proclivity and propensity to research and develop, ABG entered new boundaries by the introduction of carbon black. Used by a multitude of tyre manufactures, the impact on the automobile sector should not be understated. Right from everyday motorcycles to heavy-duty trucks, right upto racing tyres, carbon black is the nucleus. Thus the luxury provided while travelling and the entertainment gained from racing is indirectly attributed to ABG.
The values (integrity, commitment, speed, seamlessness and passion) ABG manifests for the development of society is truly embedded in all the services provided not just for me but the entire globe.
