The group employs 120,000 people worldwide with a footprint in 35 countries – changing people’s lives.

Many leading fashion brands that we are acquainted with, such as Louis Phillipe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England are the in-house brands of Aditya Birla Group. The multi-brand fashion retail chain Pantaloons is also operated by the group. The brands that we all have been associated with, at some point in our lives.
“An Idea can change your life”. Idea - the telecom business of Aditya Birla Group lived up to their tagline. They did change the lives of millions of people in India by enabling them to connect with their loved ones be it on voice or video calls. And those iconic “What an Idea sir ji!” ads take me back to my childhood days. The thought of replying with “Get Idea” when someone says “No Idea” makes me nostalgic. The merger with Vodafone India made Vodafone Idea Ltd. the largest telecom company in terms of both subscribers and revenue.
More, the fourth largest supermarket chain in the country is also a part of the Aditya Birla Group. The store has been there for my rescue many a time. Imagine salt getting over while cooking your dinner. The group also has hands in building roofs over the head of people, with their cement business UltraTech cement being India’s largest cement company.
The true definition of Omnipresent – from cement, metals, chemicals, and fertilizers to fashion, textile, insurance, retail, and telecom, name the industry and you will find Aditya Birla Group. From the first war of Indian independence to the present day, they have been influencing lives and will continue to do so for years to come.
