Why Aditya Birla Group is a big part of my life?
ABG group has a very long and definitely a lasting impact in my life. We have always identified strength as something which should be as solid as that of a wall’s and that’s where ultratech cement comes into play. I have grown up seeing commercial of ultratech cement and hence have a impression that this is what makes the buildings stronger. As I grew up and moved out of my hometown I began shopping on my own that’s where I came across apparel brands like pantaloons, vanhuesen . these are the brands which I am comfortable with and these are my first go to shops whenever I think of dressing up well . I can easily say I learnt dressing up when I was a kid , but adding that edge to my personality I got up with these brands. ABG has been with me since the childhood and is still giving me better options in my every aspect of life .
As I grow up I expect ABG to come even more deeper into spaces of my life be it in the form of the house which I purchase or any other blazer which I purchase.
How Have You Made An Impact ?
Two days before the reporting date of MDI I came to know about severe accident of a schoolmate from my hometown. It was a very serious accident and the victim was in a very serious condition, the administration had got him admitted in a hospital and then called his family members about the accident . Since the accident happened in delhi and the family of the victim was in Jharkhand they called us and asked for up. Me and my siblings were the nearest ones available so, we went and got him admitted to the hospital. Since it was a very critical case and more people were needed to stay in the hospital with the patient for the whole duration we called a few of our friends. We made sure two people stayed in the hospital round the clock till the time he was in ICU, even after his family members came. The Treatment costs were very high and this put financial burden on the family so , We also raised some money by crowd funding from our network of school alumni and hometown . we managed to raise almost half of the cost of treatment and this helped the family to a great extent as the cost and the duration of treatment was very high.
Proudly I can say due to our collaborative efforts and the grace of god that person is safe and sound now and is back to his normal life .
This incident has made me realize that life is very unpredictable. We have to be prepared for any eventuality which might come our way. One should always be responsible towards him/herself by being prepared for any worse situation, also one should be responsible enough to be able to help others in the time of need.
