Being a woman and making a mark in the corporate workspace is hard enough, and I believe that confidence is key to surviving and excelling here. Power dressing is a fashion style that enables women to establish their authority in a professional and political environment traditionally dominated by men. ABG’s Fashion Brands like Van Heusen and Allen Solly have helped me present myself in a comfortable and presentable way. The range of choices offered by the business with products show style, enclosing at the same time self-esteem and confidence. I am one of the millions who have shown faith in the Aditya Birla Group and their businesses continue to magnanimous national and global success in several businesses.
Challenges are inevitable and are a part of our everyday life. They help us experience hard times, which makes us stronger and gives us the motivation to keep working and never give up. Facing challenges and living through them give us the experiences that help us establish our true identity. One of the most difficult challenges that I have faced in my life is securing admission in one of the premiere, leading business schools in India. I was pursuing my final year of graduation in Economics and preparing for entrance exams at the same time. Managing my course and entrance exam syllabus was extremely difficult. The fact that there was a lot of pressure on me to prove myself, and my competitive attitude and desire to excel and perform well in the task undertaken led me to eventually struggle with certain mental health issues like anxiety. My productivity was affected and performing mundane and easy tasks started to get difficult for me. I found myself facing issues in handling stress, and giving mock exams and entrances became synonymous with deterioration of my physical health as well. Finishing an exam became difficult for me, and I was almost on the verge of giving up. However, I had a strong support system that helped me sail through this difficult time. I did not give up and I tried to work on my self- confidence. I started valuing the importance of my health and focused more on my time management. I finally managed to prepare well for my NMAT exam and it was a pleasant surprise when I got to know that I had secured admission into NMIMS, Bangalore. After all the persistent effort and most importantly, the mental effort of not giving up, I accomplished my goal and that has helped me evolve as an individual altogether.
