ABG touches millions in the world. It is unlikely that you have never used a product, or traveled on a road or visited a site where ABG has not contributed in some way. Its presence in your life is massive. In at least 250 words or more, tell us why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life.
The multinational Indian conglomerate, headquartered in Worli, Mumbai, India- Aditya Birla Group has always been an important part of our daily life. A total of 34 countries and 1,20,000 employees are a part of this conglomerate. This company has not only made it big in the world but has also touched several thousand lives including mine. From clothing brands like Pantaloons to subsidiaries like Vodafone Idea Ltd., Aditya Birla Group has affected our life in a subtle yet impactful way.
Be it any occasion or event, Pantaloons has always been the ‘go-to’ fashion store for its diverse and affordable collection. For informal and party wear, Pantaloons never disappointed any of us. And once I joined the prestigious B-school- Indian Institute of Management Raipur, formal wear was a must. Female formal wear options from Van Heusen and Allen Solly saved the day with its diverse and incredible collection for women.
Products for hygiene purposes like Freshwrapp always kept my food fresh and healthy for almost 17 years and served as a throwball whenever we wanted to play a game once our food was eaten. These fond childhood memories have played a huge role in shaping my life to some extent.
When it was time to leave my hometown and go to a completely different place my Voafone-Idea sim came handy by keeping me connected to my family and friends because of its wide reach and 24*7 connectivity with no signal issues whatsoever.
This is how ABG played a big role in my life.

At the core of the ABGLP program are people who drive to make an impact, irrespective of what challenges they face.
Tell us, in at least 250 words, how you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.
It is never easy to achieve our goals in life and moreover it isn’t fun if there are no challenges or road blocks that test our capability thereby surprising us about our own strengths. The occurrence of few such incidents has helped me grow and improve myself. Every person faces challenges at some point of their life and I had faced my biggest challenge during the first year of my under-graduation.
Happy with the results I scored in my VIT entrance examination, I did not prepare much for my upcoming degree in Computer Sciences even though I knew that I had no knowledge of coding during this period. This proved on to be a huge mistake as all the other fellow students were highly versed with this coding language and adding on to that I did not score well during my interim exams. Having to stay away from my hometown for the very first time and to face such academic challenges wasn’t easy. But that did not stop me from working hard and going through various sources for additional information. While my friends taught me the different concepts of C, C++, my family helped me cope up with the other difficulties I faced while shifting. After a lot of hard work and determination I finally got an ‘A’ grade at the end of my semester and this improved my confidence to a great extent. When I look back at this incident it doesn’t seem so challenging at this stage of my life as there is much more to it than just academics but my twelfth standard self who just passed out of an IIT-coaching institute wasn’t ready for it.
This is how I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions.
