Since its inception days in 1857 trading cotton to present modern times being present in almost all aspects of a common person’s life, ABG has been making life better for Indians, and now the world over.
It’s pretty amazing when you actually think how much ABG is present in our life making it easier for us.
Right from the moment you open your eyes after a sleep, you can realize you had a good night’s sleep on a bedsheet most probably made by ABG’s Grasim Industries. You rub your eyes and set foot grasp onto the trustworthy floor made by ABG’s UltraTech cement.
Your mother’s tasty dish made from ABG’s processed palm oil makes you taste heaven itself for some moments.
You eventually put on your best shirt. Buttoning down you realize, its fine quality and fit gives you confidence in your demeanor and infuse you with positivity and courage to face the harsh and challenging world beyond the doors.
When you flip out your cellphone over to call your friends over about the party, you are directly or indirectly using ABG’s Idea services to connect with your loved ones.

At the core of the ABGLP program are people who drive to make an impact, irrespective of what challenges they face.
Tell us, in at least 250 words, how you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.
Every moment as we draw breath, while we are fighting everyday for our wishes to come true, ambitions or otherwise, there are some moments and events which stand out.
And so has been the case for me as well.
Be it academically: Like the time where I didn’t get into IIT after sitting into the competition exams. Instead of settling for NITs, I decided to brave the uncertainty of taking a year off for preparations in Kota against my parents general wish and advice. Living alone with the consistent challenge of new place, competition, issues and distractions I was able to work hard and reap the benefits.
Be it romantically: Like having to travel 1000s of kilometers in a railways General bogey just to make a special someone’s birthday her most rememberable one. Failure to get ticket in tatkal can’t be taken as cheap excuses to commitments done with yourself.
Be it in work life: Where it took all my strength and willpower to maintain composure while battling the grief of losing a family member, the heartbreak of ending a serious relationship, pressures of tight work deadlines and the monster named CAT-2018 closing in just days.
And with IIM comes another sets of challenges and our story continues here as well.
