Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life.
Aditya Birla Group was founded in 1857 and today owns several brands like Ultratech cement, Peter England, Allen Solly and several others. The Chairman of the group lays a special emphasis on the values on which the group is run. Their values of integrity, commitment, passion, seamlessness and speed provide them with their roots which in turn provide them with their wings.
ABG has been working tirelessly in the grassroots and has helped the poorest of the poor. It runs 5000 medical camps and 20 hospitals.. It also provide midday meals for 63000 children in 268 schools. They have several programs which aim at providing livelihood in a locally appropriate and environmentally sustainable manner through formation of Self Help, Groups for women empowerment and Vocational training through Aditya Birla Rural Technology Parks.
I encounter several products from the Aditya Birla Group in my daily life but one of the best brands for me personally from this conglomerate is Pantaloons. Pantaloons has become a one stop solution for everyone. The apparels offered suit everyone and it did make life easier for me. It has changed the way I shop for clothes. It was also the place where I bought clothes for my father with my own hard earned money.
Aditya Birla Group with its values, vision and mission has indeed wooed me.
How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far.
In an Indian Student’s life class 12 forms a very important chapter. Class 12 is said to be a career deciding class. There are millions of students studying in the 12th standard in the schools under CBSE. They have their dreams of a bright career after Senior Secondary Class. All the entrance tests for the best institutions start after 12th standard.
The final cutoffs for various colleges depend a lot on Class12 marks. Therefore, there is a big importance of Class 12th Result. Besides, if there is a good result, it works as a morale booster. On the other hand, if it is not so, it dampens the confidence of the students. After all, the result is the reflection of year-long hard work. That’s why the curiosity is very high. This result also satiates this curiosity of seeing the fruits of one’s labor.
In 2015 I was one amongst millions preparing for my Board Examinations. However disaster struck me after my pre-board examinations as I was diagnosed with Dengue. This affected my studies for two weeks and had a major effect on my health. And the pressure of performing well in Boards Examinations was always there. However with help of my parent’s support and advice, I was able to work hard and performed well in my Boards.
This incident in my life taught me to face my problems head-on and also that I will always have my family’s support.
