Aditya Birla Group is one of the first names that comes to my mind when I think of Indian Conglomerates that have made a landmark worldwide. Employing over more than 1 lakh employees and presence in a total of 34 countries, this group has impacted various lives including mine.
Several of my daily activities have been touched by the ABG group. Firstly, the internet network that I am using right now to upload this blog is the Vodafone supernet 4G which enables me to connect and communicate with the world. The fast network helps me in my daily projects and researches with so much ease.
As an MBA student, I have to usually wear business formals and ABG’s brands comes to the rescue as there are not many brands that cater to the female audience when it comes the workwear. From Allen Solly to Van Heusen, the variety and quality of the clothing has impressed me a lot.
Ultratech cement is ensuring the integrity and strength of the infrastructures that we use on a daily basis, from the buildings we live to the bridges we use while travelling.
Along with having business that reaches almost every individual through different products and services, it makes a different with its Corporate social responsibility. ABG’s CSR initiatives in Healthcare, Education, Livelihood, Infrastructure and its endeavour in making model villages is indeed making our society better.
For over 50 years now, the Aditya Birla Group has engaged in impactful, welfare-driven activities in India and globally.
How I overcome challenges in my life?
So often we turn away from life rather than toward it. We are masters of avoidance! But if we want to be present—to enjoy life and to be more effective in it—we must orient ourselves toward facing reality. Challenges are a part and parcel of life. I believe that It is easy to count our troubles rather than our blessings, but such an attitude undermines our ability to draw from the good that we have been given and to see our lives fundamentally as a gift.
When I chose a commerce stream after being a science student, people questioned me and I couldn’t perform well in my first semester of exams. I started believing them. But then after a conversation with my mother, I realized that it was a decision I made and I have to stand by it.
I worked diligently for the next semester only to score appreciable marks. A change in perspective can make all the difference. We are all learning. No one gets it right every time. A more compassionate attitude toward ourselves only helps us to stay in the game. The dynamic process of life—trying, succeeding, failing, and trying again—is the only way to develop lasting confidence in ourselves.
