Earth is a beautiful planet and we as human beings are obliged to have it as our habitat. God has sent us with a motive and has given human beings, a power to socialize and to make an impact. We have the power to make the world a better place. With the growing world, it is getting difficult to survive without happiness, but there are people around us who are regularly working and going through hardships to make our life easier.
One of them is Aditya Birla Group which was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. He was the man with vision and values. He started this group with a mission to deliver superior values to society. He worked with passion, commitment, integrity and seamlessness for the betterment of the society and these values helped him to reach out in 35 countries.
During my school days when I was in ninth class, I got my first mobile phone and the first sim card I used was of Idea Cellular limited as it was giving the best offer to customers and when recently in India, when the war was going on among the telecommunication companies, the company kept its promises and didn’t stopped its functioning and now I feel proud to say I am an Idea user. Another incident happened when my father was interested to invest in mutual funds and then he invested them in Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Funds. I ask him why this company? He replied that this is the company where our money is in safe hand and they will invest to provide us with maximum return. Similarly, many incidents have happened where Aditya Birla Group is making life easier. To benefit every person of the society it is working in various fields like telecommunications, textile, cement, metals, insurance, etc.
Aditya Birla Group has the potential to grow endlessly and is helping the people, society and conserving our nature all across the world. Another medium by which the group is helping the society is through Corporate Social Responsibility. Under this it is working in 5000 villages, immunized 70 million children against polio, providing education and giving various skill training to people. So again we can say that this group is making our life better and easier.
Life is a journey, for some its easy and some fails miserably but life is all about fighting for yourself, your desire and the peoples who depend on you. People see the successful person and judge them by declaring his success as a result of destiny, but only the person himself knows what conditions he faced. The person failed repeatedly, he saw hardships, he faced disappointments, anxiety, pressure, economic problems and many more. But the person succeeds because he was having persistence and self-belief. He learnt from his mistakes and possessed integrity, hard work and passion. He faced many sleepless nights and criticism which led him to success. The people who show resistance to the outer distraction of the world and always move towards continuous improvement do wonder in their life. This is the reason why every successful person has some story to tell as he wants the world to look and remind them that there is no shortcut for success, if you have a vision and you work hard to reach it, you will become a successful person irrespective of all the challenges. At the end what matters is your accomplishment and the taste of victory which is only known by them who had seen failures.
Getting admission in an IIM was one of my accomplishment and I faced all the challenges but at the end hard work pays. But one thing a person should always remember that the learning never ends. You learn till you die and if you stop learning, one day you will become obsolete.
