Part A

Aditya Birla has been a part of our lives in many forms. How we live in the houses built by its cement, or we go to our work place in its brand of formal wear and much more.

But the brands that have a massive presence in my life are Forever 21, Ted baker, collective etc.

It’s been about 5 years today since I started visiting to the Collective. It has been my go to brand today because of how it helped me 5 years ago.

My niece had paid me her visit and she was all obsessed about TED Baker because of its classic and girly bow. Since it was a short and a surprise visit, I did not know where to get her the gift she desired from. After all the research, I finally figured about the Collective store and on my visit to that store, I was shocked to see on what was I missing out.

All the brands I loved and admired, it was a house to them. It became like my place where wishes come true. Firstly, it saved me from the disappointment of my niece, and later it helped me update my wardrobe and collection with the brands of my desire.

It was a one stop shop for all the luxury goods and a brand where I could trust the authenticity of spending the money.

The way the staff greets the customers and maintains a personal connect has been one of the reason that I have never left the Collective store empty handed.

Its online shopping site has again made my life so easy, that I can send across gifts to my family and friends anywhere around which I can sit back and be sure about.

Part B

Challenges are a part of learning, growth and success, and everyone has faced them in some part of their life. The definition of challenge might be different for different individuals depending upon their capability, goals and aspirations.

Though I believe I have a very easy life compared to many people around me, but something that I can share is the challenge to get what I want because of my procrastination and over confidence.

During my class 12th boards, I had only aimed for SRCC, DU. But my biggest challenge then was to not be over confident about my preparation and stay grounded, which I failed to do. I scored well, but just by 2%, could not achieve my goal.

After that while planning to do MBA, and preparing for it , my biggest challenge was to not form an opinion at the very first instance, which I again failed to overcome and got scared away of Quantitative part so soon that I again could not perform my very best and that led to my dream getting shattered again.

I again ended up not getting the best I desired and worked hard for, and dreamt of.

Such challenges may seem very petty in comparison to that of other people which may get defined as real hardships. But as I started off, challenges are the barriers keeping you away from your goals and can be varied for all.

But one thing that remained constant was my will to not give up. Though I always ended up with my 2nd best choice, but instead of getting disheartened I always gave my best to what I got and with that determination and will I hope to pursue every challenge of life.
