Aditya Birla Group has a really diversified portfolio ranging from telecom to cement to apparel and to many more which made it a brand that is so intrinsic to any person’s life that it becomes difficult to imagine life without Aditya Birla Group products. It focuses on accessibility, affordability as well as quality. What makes these products even more attractive to me are the sustainability initiatives taken by the organization as in today’s world this is what the world needs the most. If I talk specifically about how Aditya Birla Group is involved in my life then the maximum part would belong to India’s most trusted retail brand. Any guesses? Yes, it is obviously Pantaloons. Let me tell you the story of how Pantaloons became my best friend.
The general conception about women and shopping is that they can’t have enough of it and I’m no exception but what I don’t like is the hard work of swinging from one showroom to another in the search of that perfect dress. So due to this I always used to opt out of shopping by telling my mother to shop for me every time until I came across Pantaloons which has a plethora of choices. Not only the number of choices available are huge but the quality is something we can blindly pay for as Pantaloons has many big brands under one roof. Also, we can shop for the whole family from one place which saves a lot of time and effort. My most famous brands, be it Ajile for sportswear, Ginger and Honey for casual wear, Annabelle for that perfect dress, or Akkriti for Indo Western wear, are available at one stop destination so why would I go anywhere else!
CHALLENGES AND OPPURTUNITIES
Challenges are a part of everyday life. Irrespective of how big or small the challenge is, the key is facing it. It is a way to push ourselves out of our comfort zone and see what are we capable of. It makes us strong and confident and we get lifetime experiences and learnings. I too face challenges everyday but a major challenge of my life started when I was in class twelfth. Around the time of board exams my right arm started paining. At first it was mild so I thought it was because of some wrong sleeping position, but after a few days it started to amplify. It rose to such a level that I wasn’t even able to write with my right hand. I consulted a lot of doctors but no one was able to diagnose the exact problem. I got disheartened and was tensioned about my board exams. My family, specially my mother, made me understand that everything happens for good, there may have been a lot more serious situation so I should be thankful for that. Their support and advice (and a lot of painkillers too) helped me pass that time and secure a good percentage too. That was a really hard phase of my life but as I said earlier, I faced the challenge and it taught me a lot. I learned how being positive and to have faith in yourself is so important to overcome any challenge. Every problem has a solution. I too got my solution eventually when someone suggested me a physiotherapist who gives manipulation therapy. I was diagnosed with spinal problem which started affecting all the body parts. I underwent the treatment in my first year of graduation. Yes, it was a little difficult to manage as the treatment took a lot of my energy and effort but I was able to get past it. Everything was good, until 15 days back when I started to feel the same pain in my right leg again. I got to know that some complications came back. It horrified me at first but due to my past experience I was able to calm myself down. I need to visit the physiotherapist at least once a week and as we all know with the rigour of MBA from a premier B school this is going to be a difficult challenge for me but I’m ready to face it and not as frightened as last time which shows my learning from the past challenges.
