They are in businesses of cement to textile; telecom to fashion, the group has created a mark in every sector. It has provided many job opportunities in India and as well as outside India. ABG is not only involved in making money but works towards sustainable development of the socially and economically weaker sections of society.

ABG has vast presence in the lives of people, and my case is nothing different. Service and products by Aditya Birla group has become integral part of my life. It has been 7 years I have staying away from my family and Vodafone Idea Limited helps me to regularly connect with my family and its 4G high speed mobile internet allows me to do uninterrupted video calling and downloading. I still remembered when my father bought me a formal shirt and trouser during my undergraduate placements. I came to know about the brand that it is “Louis Phillippe” and was only surprised to know that it was Aditya Birla group behind it. For the construction of my grandfather house, UltraTech cement was used ensuring strength and integrity of the house. Aditya Birla group was pioneer of Pantaloons stores where it offers variety of clothes, accessories and foot wares.

Its involvement in C.S.R initiatives is helping many people and making the society better. The group has achieved success over the years and it will continue to grow and will make the country proud.

  • Challenges faced in Life

Life is full of challenges, and none of us is exempt. Challenges in life enhances the knowledge of a person. Those who tend to overcome such challenges and improve their future life situations. A life without challenge, a life without hardship, a life without purpose, seems pale and pointless. We have to face them, embrace them, defy them, and conquer them. The most challenging part being to test our toughness towards a uncomfortable situation. I have stayed outside for about 7 years. I am the person who loves to meet new people, socialize with them. I used to always surround by large circle of friends. But after graduating from college and then transitioning to corporate culture, the biggest challenge I faced was communicating with other colleagues. I was either reluctant or tried to ignore them as I was very scared to talk to them for no reasons. A change in my environment brought out a change in my personality that I was not familiar with. I started feeling aloof and going to office became the least interested part of daily life. I realized I preferred sitting at home at evenings. To overcome this challenge, one day I decided to sit down and analyse what is scaring me so much that I could not even say “Hi” to my colleagues. I was determined to overcome this issue and ready to get out of that phase and start afresh. Such determination helped me to overcome my problems and helped me to gel up with my colleagues and to get fit into the corporate culture.
